It was nothing – just a glitch in my system. It took less than a minute for John to write a subroutine to filter it out. We were surprised that the reset went as well as it did, it easily could have burned out half my systems. The only lasting side effect was an overwhelming barrage of negative emotions – regret, fury, desperation. It’s fortunate that SVT insisted on restraining me, because apparently it sent me into a blind rage.

I had been captured during a mission and deactivated for a week until John returned with some SVT agents to rescue me. Apparently they had overwritten my mind with corrupted data, but thanks to one of the cyphers I was carrying, there was a full backup from just before we were captured. John wrote the mission report for once, and that was the last I thought of it.

Angels, especially Archangels like Michael, have ways of healing souls. It’s an incredible sensation, like overcharging all my circuits and opening the floodgates. I’ve read dozens of fanfics about Michael’s “soul healing”, a few of them were even PG-13, but they’re nothing compared to the real thing. Now, for the first time, the filter is too strong and needs to be adjusted. According to SVT’s files that shouldn’t have been possible. Soul healing doesn’t work on simulated emotions.

It wasn’t a glitch. It was real.
